Why organisers book me

Why people came, not just what happened.

An event film has a job to do: get people to sign up, donate or come back next year. So I plan around the story first. Who's taking part, why it matters to them, and the moments that will make someone watching want to be there.

I cover the day myself, from the start line to the finish, then edit, grade and deliver. Social cuts can go out the same night, with the full film and photo gallery to follow.

Planning the film

How an event film earns its keep.

  1. 01

    Before the day

A short call on the goal: more sign-ups, donations, sponsors or bookings. Then a shot list built around the people with a story to tell.

  2. 02

    On the day

Arrivals, set-up, the start, the key moments and the finish. Short interviews with participants, volunteers and organisers.

  3. 03

    That night

Vertical social cuts and a handful of photos, so you can post while people are still sharing it.

  4. 04

    After the event

The full film and photo gallery, ready for next year's campaign, sponsors and press.

Common questions

Before you book.

Where I work: based in Milton Keynes, with no travel charge for Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton, Buckingham, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Oxford, Bicester and Cambridge. London, the rest of the UK and abroad too, with travel agreed upfront.

How much does an event videographer cost?

Event projects start from £1,200, with photography days from £450. Multi-day events are quoted after a short call, and you get three clear options with fixed prices within 24 hours.

Can you film and photograph the same event?

Yes. I cover film, photography or both from the same day, so everything matches and you only brief one person.

How quickly will we get the footage?

Social cuts can go out the same night. The full edited film and photo gallery follow after the event, on a date we agree before the day.

Do you film charity events?

Yes. Charity films are some of my favourite work. I've filmed a night walk and a cycle sportive for Willen Hospice, built around the people taking part and why it mattered to them.

Do you cover exhibitions and multi-day events?

Yes. I spent five days at Rouleur Live for Trek, delivering photography and social content for their channels throughout the show.

Where do you cover?

I'm based in Milton Keynes and cover events across Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton, Buckingham, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Oxford, Bicester and Cambridge, plus London and nationwide. Travel further afield is agreed upfront.

Got an event coming up?

Tell me the date and what you'd want people to feel. We'll start with the story.
