Why artists book me

From inside the band.

The best music films don't feel like someone filmed a gig. They feel like you were there with the band: the soundcheck, the nerves backstage, the moment the crowd joins in. I travel with you and work around you, so you can focus on playing.

I plan the story before the show, shoot it myself, then edit, grade and mix the sound. You get reels to post straight away and a longer film for promoters, venues and fans.

What you get.

One person from first call to final file. No handoffs, no crew you didn't ask for.

  • Festival & live set filming

On-stage, crowd and backstage coverage of your set, with clean audio.

  • Band documentaries

A longer film told in your own words, through interviews and the road to the stage.

  • Reels for social

Short vertical cuts for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, ready to post.

  • Promo for bookings

Edits made to show promoters and venues what you're like live.

  • Behind the scenes

Soundchecks, travel and the quiet moments that fans love.

  • Music photography

Live and backstage stills for press, artwork and social.

A festival shoot

How a music shoot comes together.

  1. 01

    Before the show

A planning call and a simple storyboard, plus an interview if we're building a longer film around your story.

  2. 02

    Soundcheck and backstage

The calm before the set. Tuning up, warm-ups and the band together before you walk on.

  3. 03

    The set

On-stage, crowd and wide coverage, with clean audio so the music sounds as good as it did in the room.

  4. 04

    After

Reels for each show to post straight away, then the longer film and photography for press and promoters.

Watch the reels.

Cut for social from the Charlie Ward festival shoot: a teaser for the film, and one reel for each stage.

Common questions

Before you book.

Where I work: based in Milton Keynes, with no travel charge for Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton, Buckingham, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Oxford, Bicester and Cambridge. London, the rest of the UK and abroad too, with travel agreed upfront.

How much does it cost to film a gig or festival set?

Music projects start from £1,200. Multi-day festivals and tours are quoted after a short call, and you get clear options with fixed prices within 24 hours.

What do I get from a festival shoot?

Typically on-stage, crowd and backstage coverage, short reels for social, a longer documentary-style film and photography. We plan the mix around what you need it for.

Can you make a band documentary?

Yes. I filmed Charlie Ward and his band across CarFest and Camper Calling, built around his interview, with reels for each festival and a short documentary film.

Will the footage help us get more bookings?

That's the aim. Edits are cut to show promoters and venues what you're like live, alongside reels that build your audience.

Do you travel with bands to festivals and tours?

Yes. I travel with the band so the coverage feels natural, from load-in to the last song.

Where are you based?

I'm based in Milton Keynes and cover gigs and festivals across Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton, Buckingham, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Oxford, Bicester and Cambridge, London and nationwide.

Got a set coming up?
